NX Group Completes Acquisition of Metro Supply Chain
Japanese logistics group NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS (NX Group) has finalized its acquisition of Canadian provider Metro Supply Chain. The transaction aims to bolster Metro Supply Chain's growth while retaining its local leadership and customer focus.
Montreal, Canada – Japanese logistics group NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS (NX Group) announced on October 9, 2026, the completion of its acquisition of Metro Supply Chain Inc.
Metro Supply Chain, a third-party logistics and supply chain solutions provider, will continue to operate under its existing name in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The company's executive team and its Montreal headquarters will remain in place, ensuring business continuity for customers, employees, and partners.
Metro Supply Chain founder Chiko Nanji will continue as Group Chairman. NX Group selected Metro Supply Chain for its people, culture, performance, and market position. The combination aims to expand customer offerings through the NX Group's global network.
