Nyxoah Lists on Euronext Brussels, Raises Over €73 Million

Health technology company Nyxoah announced on September 18, 2020, the commencement of trading for its shares on Euronext Brussels. The company's initial public offering raised approximately €73.7 million before expenses, with the potential to reach up to €84.75 million if the over-allotment option is fully exercised. The shares were priced at €17.00 each.

The funds raised are intended to advance Nyxoah's clinical evidence development for its hypoglossus neurostimulation therapy, Genio®. The company plans to launch its DREAM IDE pivotal trial in the United States, execute its European commercialization strategy, and invest in research and development and organizational scaling.

"Today marks an exciting new era for Nyxoah as a publicly listed company," stated CEO Olivier Taelman. He indicated that the capital will support ongoing clinical evidence development, the US trial launch, and European commercial expansion.

Nyxoah focuses on developing solutions for sleep-disordered breathing conditions. Its flagship product, the Genio® system, is a CE-marked hypoglossus neurostimulation therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). The system received its CE mark in March 2019 and has shown efficacy in treating moderate to severe OSA. Nyxoah is conducting further studies to confirm the long-term safety and effectiveness of the therapy.
