O-I Glass faces class action lawsuit over alleged financial misstatements
A class action lawsuit has been filed against O-I Glass, Inc. regarding disclosures made between March 2025 and July 2026. The deadline for institutional investors to seek lead plaintiff status is December 28, 2026.

O-I Glass, Inc. is facing a class action lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. The complaint alleges that the company issued misleading financial guidance between March 14, 2025, and July 28, 2026, while failing to disclose operational difficulties and rising energy costs in Europe.
Plaintiffs argue that the company repeatedly affirmed multi-year financial targets while withholding information regarding delays in its “Fit to Win” cost-savings program. Following a downward revision of 2026 guidance in late July 2026, the company’s share price declined by approximately 15 percent, prompting the legal action on behalf of investors who purchased shares during the defined class period.
The lawsuit names the company and several senior executives as defendants. Investors who held common stock during this window have until December 28, 2026, to apply for lead plaintiff status, a role that involves overseeing litigation strategy.
