O-I Glass Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Misleading Financial Guidance
Investors have filed a class action lawsuit against O-I Glass, Inc. alleging the company misrepresented its 2026 financial outlook. A lead plaintiff deadline has been set for late December 2026.

A securities class action lawsuit has been filed against O-I Glass, Inc., a global manufacturer of glass containers, following allegations that the firm provided investors with misleading financial projections. The litigation covers the period between March 14, 2025, and July 28, 2026.
The complaint alleges that O-I Glass consistently promoted its "Fit to Win" restructuring program as a primary driver of future growth and premium business performance. However, plaintiffs contend that the company suppressed material facts, including significant delays in cost-saving initiatives, operational disruptions, and heightened energy and competitive pressures within its European division.
The discrepancy between public guidance and internal operational challenges reportedly came to light on July 28, 2026, when the company issued a significant downward revision to its adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow targets. The announcement triggered a 15% decline in O-I Glass stock price the following day.
Investors who purchased shares during the defined class period are eligible to apply for lead plaintiff status. Robbins LLP, the firm representing the plaintiffs, has set a deadline of December 28, 2026, for shareholders to participate in the process.
