OB Streem Acquires Temperature-Controlled Logistics Firm Med Frigo
H.I.G. Capital portfolio company OB Streem has finalized the acquisition of Med Frigo, a European provider of temperature-controlled transport and logistics services.

London, July 13, 2026 – H.I.G. Capital announced that its portfolio company OB Streem has completed the acquisition of Med Frigo S.A. Med Frigo is a key provider of temperature-controlled logistics services in Europe.
Founded in 1991, Med Frigo specializes in the logistics of temperature-sensitive goods, particularly Greek aquaculture exports. The company operates its own cold chain infrastructure and a fleet of refrigerated vehicles. OB Streem, an integrated logistics platform, operates across major European trading routes, offering warehousing, container yards, and freight forwarding.
The acquisition expands OB Streem's capabilities in temperature-controlled transport and enhances its geographical reach. The combined entity has revenues exceeding $500 million and is positioned to achieve operational efficiencies. H.I.G. Capital is a global alternative investment firm managing $75 billion in assets.
