Occomnor and Hygon Information Develop Domestic Memory and Storage Chip Test Platform
Technology firm Occomnor is collaborating with Hygon Information to build a domestic test platform for memory and storage chips. The project is slated for release by the end of the year.
Chinese technology company Occomnor is partnering with Hygon Information to develop a domestic test platform for memory and storage chips. According to Lan Jing News, citing industry sources, the platform will be built around Hygon Information's CPUs.
Occomnor is also engaging with leading domestic storage chip manufacturers to integrate foundational testing technology for DRAM chips. This technology, combined with Occomnor's self-developed domestic testing systems, aims to create a fully indigenous testing solution.
The platform is scheduled for official release by year-end. Currently, the project is in its final joint debugging phase, with product maturity and external availability anticipated by the end of October.
Founded in 2005, Occomnor specializes in storage device testing solutions, serving original manufacturers, internet companies, and system integrators. Hygon Information focuses on high-performance computing chips like processors and accelerators, with its x86-compatible processors supporting domestic security standards.
