Oceania Marina Cruise Ship to Undergo Major Refurbishment in October 2026

Oceania Cruises has announced a significant refurbishment for its cruise ship, the Oceania Marina, scheduled for October 2026. The project aims to align the 2011-built vessel with the company's newer standards, focusing on a comprehensive redesign of its accommodations and onboard amenities.

The refit will introduce updated interiors across all staterooms, featuring modern design elements and spa-like bathrooms with marble finishes. Higher-tier suites, including the Penthouse, Vista, Oceania, and Owner's Suites, will be renovated to mirror those on newer ships in the fleet, enhancing overall guest comfort.

Culinary offerings are set to be expanded with the addition of a new Chef’s Studio for culinary demonstrations and classes, and an enhanced Baristas area with a dedicated bakery. Signature restaurants such as Polo Grill and Toscana will also receive updates, reinforcing Oceania Cruises' reputation for fine dining at sea.

Further enhancements include the introduction of the Founders Bar within an enlarged Grand Lounge, offering premium cocktails. Public spaces and outdoor decks will also be refreshed with new furnishings and improved layouts. The 1,250-passenger vessel is expected to return to service in late 2026, with its first post-refurbishment voyages commencing through late 2026 and into 2027.
