Industrial automation company OCTUM has established a new operational base in Charlotte, North Carolina, to enhance its customer support across the Americas. Sebastian Pflug has been appointed Director of Operations for OCTUM USA and will act as the primary regional contact for service requests, technical support, and planned service assignments.
Pflug's responsibilities include coordinating service visits, managing local resources, and overseeing communication with clients throughout the United States, Central America, and South America. He will collaborate with OCTUM's engineering, software, and application teams in Germany to ensure comprehensive technical expertise is available.
The new US-based operation aims to provide customers with a single point of contact, streamlining communication and strengthening the support structure. This initiative combines local accessibility with OCTUM's extensive experience in machine vision technology, built over more than three decades.
OCTUM plans to introduce a video series featuring Pflug, addressing practical questions regarding service, remote support, training, and the operation of OCTUM's inspection systems. The company specializes in automated inspection solutions for manufacturing industries.
