ODU Connectors Appoints Dr. Henner Spelsberg as New Managing Director
Connector solutions manufacturer ODU Connectors has appointed Dr. Henner Spelsberg as its new Managing Director and spokesperson for the management board. He assumed his role on April 15, 2024.
Mühldorf am Inn – ODU Connectors, a manufacturer of connector solutions, has named Dr. Henner Spelsberg as its new Managing Director and spokesperson for the management board. Dr. Spelsberg began his tenure on April 15, 2024, taking over responsibilities from his predecessor, Dr.-Ing. Kurt Woelfl.
Dr. Spelsberg brings extensive experience from various leadership positions, including serving as a board member at TIB Chemicals AG and as a member of the advisory board for Günther Spelsberg GmbH & Co. KG. His career also encompasses roles in corporate development, commercial management, and management consulting. He holds a degree in industrial engineering.
In his new capacity, Dr. Spelsberg will oversee global sales, portfolio management, corporate communications, marketing, and the automotive sector. He will lead the company alongside fellow Managing Directors Robert Klemisch and Dr. Josef Leitner.
Under Dr.-Ing. Kurt Woelfl's leadership, ODU has seen substantial growth, with turnover increasing from approximately 70 million euros in 2007 to 300 million euros currently. Woelfl will transition to a role on the company's supervisory board. Additionally, Dr. Christoph Endrös will step down as Chairman of the Supervisory Board to chair the newly established shareholders' committee.
