Connector manufacturer ODU achieved over €290 million in revenue for 2023 and announced significant investments in new logistics centers and expanded production capacity in Germany, Romania, and Mexico.
Mühldorf am Inn, Germany – ODU, a manufacturer of connectors, reported revenues exceeding €290 million for 2023, demonstrating growth above the market average. The company also announced substantial future investments, including a new logistics center in Mühldorf am Inn, capacity expansion in Sibiu, Romania, and technology upgrades in Tijuana, Mexico.
Globally, ODU employs over 2,700 individuals, with nearly 1,500 based at its Mühldorf am Inn headquarters. The company emphasizes workforce development, with 47 new apprentices and eight dual-study students set to begin their training in September 2024.
The planned logistics center in Mühldorf aims to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. The expansion in Romania and technology upgrades in Mexico are intended to meet increasing demand in the North American market.
ODU continues to focus on key markets including medical technology, testing and measurement, and military, communication, and security technology sectors. These areas have provided stability despite challenges in the automotive industry.
