Ohio Teamsters Endorse Senate Candidate Brown, Bipartisan House Members
The Ohio Conference of Teamsters announced its 2026 congressional endorsements, backing Senator Sherrod Brown and a bipartisan group of House members who supported the worker-focused Faster Labor Contracts Act (FLCA).

The Ohio Conference of Teamsters announced on July 10, 2026, its endorsements for the 2026 congressional races, supporting Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) for the U.S. Senate. The union also backed a bipartisan slate of U.S. House of Representatives candidates who have demonstrated support for workers' rights and the Faster Labor Contracts Act (FLCA).
Endorsements for the U.S. House included Greg Landsman (D-1st District), Joyce Beatty (D-3rd), Michael Rulli (R-6th), Max Miller (R-7th), Marcy Kaptur (D-9th), Mike Turner (R-10th), Shontel Brown (D-11th), Emilia Sykes (D-13th), David Joyce (R-14th), and Mike Carey (R-15th). Pat Darrow, President of the Ohio Conference of Teamsters, stated the union prioritizes candidates' commitment to workers over party affiliation, focusing on those who empower labor and create middle-class union jobs.
Senator Brown was recognized for his long-standing advocacy for Teamsters, including efforts to protect pension benefits and his commitment to co-sponsoring the FLCA. This legislation is intended to streamline the process for newly unionized workers to secure their first collective bargaining agreement.
All incumbent House members endorsed by the union voted for the FLCA in June. The Ohio Conference of Teamsters represents over 50,000 workers statewide and plans to actively support the endorsed candidates in the upcoming November elections.
