Okuma America to Exhibit New Machines and Automation at IMTS 2026

Okuma America Corporation, a manufacturer of CNC machine tools, controls, and automation systems, announced its participation in the 2026 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, held from September 14-19, 2026. The company plans to present a comprehensive offering for the metalworking industry within its 17,000-square-foot booth.

The exhibition will feature several new CNC machine tools, with four making their Americas debut. These include new vertical and horizontal machining centers, along with multitasking lathes. Okuma will also demonstrate enhanced factory automation systems, including robotic loaders and new automatic tool changers designed for seamless integration with Okuma machines.

The company aims to highlight its automation innovations, including a partnership with Intrinsic AI. A significant portion of the showcased machines, nine out of eleven, will be integrated with automation solutions. Additionally, Okuma will offer a virtual reality experience allowing attendees to explore various machine models interactively.

Okuma will also share details about its newly constructed 35,000-square-foot Global Repair Center at its Charlotte, NC headquarters, which consolidates repair, upgrades, and parts fabrication. A tribute to the USA's 250th anniversary, featuring an intricate Bald Eagle sculpture crafted on an Okuma machine, will also be on display.
