OKX Managing Partner Rafique to Depart by Year-End
Haider Rafique, global managing partner and CMO at OKX, is reportedly set to leave the cryptocurrency exchange by the end of 2026. Sources familiar with the matter indicate Rafique played a key role in OKX's rebranding and external partnerships.

Haider Rafique, OKX's global managing partner and chief marketing officer, is expected to leave the cryptocurrency exchange by the end of 2026, according to individuals with knowledge of the situation. Rafique joined OKX in March 2020, following previous roles at Blockchain.com, CA Technologies, and Microsoft. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the company's rebranding efforts and in forging partnerships outside the traditional crypto industry.
The departure comes as OKX has been solidifying its position in the financial landscape. In March, Intercontinental Exchange invested $200 million in OKX at a $25 billion valuation. The exchange later announced another funding round at the same valuation, attracting investments from notable entities including Qube Research & Technologies, Circle Internet Group, Ripple, and Standard Chartered’s SC Ventures.
Aux Cayes Fintech, the company operating OKX's platform, has also recently resolved a compliance investigation. Neither OKX nor Rafique immediately responded to requests for comment regarding his departure.
