Oligos, an entity within the Magellan Partners group, has been supporting skipper Sébastien Marsset in his preparation for the Vendée Globe 2024, one of the world's most demanding solo sailing races. The event is scheduled to begin on November 10, 2024.
Marsset has been preparing for this 45,000-kilometer race, which involves rounding three iconic capes – the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Leeuwin, and Cape Horn – since 2022. The Vendée Globe is known for its extreme conditions, requiring exceptional endurance and skill from participants who navigate the globe non-stop and without assistance.
The race is set to run from November 2024 to January 2025, featuring 40 competitors. Marsset is also participating to support the "Cap Agir Ensemble" initiative, which he actively champions.
