Olive Garden Bringing Back Never-Ending Pasta Pass

Olive Garden is reintroducing its Never-Ending Pasta Pass, a promotion that has not been offered since 2019. The restaurant chain stated the deal, which sold out in "milliseconds" in its previous iteration, has maintained significant relevance.

The limited offer will be available to 10,000 customers and costs $100 plus tax. Pass holders receive 13 weeks of unlimited pasta, with 120 possible combinations of pasta, sauces, and proteins. Bottomless soup or salad and breadsticks are included with each visit.

Restaurant industry analysis suggests the pass becomes cost-effective for diners after approximately seven visits. During its past eight-week runs, customers averaged 10 visits. The extension to 13 weeks this year further increases the value proposition for frequent diners.

The Pasta Pass is considered an early example of the restaurant industry's subscription trend, predating similar paid membership programs from competitors like Taco Bell and Applebee's. The move aligns with a broader industry focus on loyalty programs to drive repeat business and digital orders.
