Olivia Rodrigo's Etsy Festival Merchandise Sales Jump Over 2,000%
Olivia Rodrigo's collaboration with Etsy creators for her Daisy Chains festival has resulted in a significant sales surge, making the merchandise the platform's fastest-selling celebrity collection.

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo partnered with ten female Etsy entrepreneurs to create handmade merchandise for her inaugural Daisy Chains Music Festival. This collaboration has driven sales to unprecedented levels, establishing the collection as the fastest-selling celebrity-led line in Etsy's history.
The festival, set to take place in Irvine, California, in August, will feature an all-female lineup. All proceeds from the event will go to charities dedicated to advancing women and girls. Rodrigo's connection to the event's ethos is further highlighted by her appearance in a documentary about the history of Lilith Fair, the all-female music festival founded by Sarah McLachlan.
Rodrigo selected Etsy sellers to design items celebrating her latest album and the festival. Emma Mannino of Saint Tattoos, one of the chosen founders, initially mistook the outreach for spam due to its vague nature. Laura Schwab of jewelry brand Laura Mar reported an 838% increase in page visits and a 2,366% spike in orders in the first four days after the collection launched.
The collection features items ranging from flower crowns and bracelets to bookmarks and patches. Half of the merchandise sold out within approximately seven hours, surpassing previous celebrity collections curated by artists like Nicole Richie and Kacey Musgraves. Etsy's VP of Brand Marketing, Daniel Montalto, emphasized that the collaboration provides fans with more personal merchandise and offers a significant platform for small business owners.
