Olkiluoto 3 annual outage completed, electricity production resumes
The annual outage for the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant unit has been completed. Electricity production at the facility has been restarted following the maintenance.

Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) has concluded the annual outage for its Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant unit. The maintenance work proceeded as scheduled, and electricity generation has resumed after the interruption.
The annual outage is a routine and essential procedure to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the power plant. During this period, equipment is inspected and serviced, fuel is replaced if necessary, and other maintenance tasks are performed.
Olkiluoto 3 is Finland's largest nuclear power unit, and its consistent operation is significant for the country's electricity supply. The plant's maintenance schedule is planned to minimize impact on the electricity grid.
TVO also operates two other units at the Olkiluoto site, Olkiluoto 1 and Olkiluoto 2, which undergo regular maintenance as well. The company has recently achieved extended production periods across all its units.
