Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) reported a total electricity generation of 23.26 terawatt-hours (TWh) from its Olkiluoto nuclear power plants during 2025. This production volume constituted a substantial part of Finland's overall electricity supply, underscoring the role of nuclear power in the national energy landscape.

The power plant units maintained stable operations for most of the year. The Olkiluoto 3 unit, in particular, contributed significantly to the total output following its operational start. The company noted that Olkiluoto 3 achieved its longest continuous production period in the spring of 2025.

TVO is Finland's second-largest electricity producer. Its nuclear power facilities are located in Olkiluoto, Eurajoki. The company is also responsible for the planning and implementation of the final disposal facility for spent nuclear fuel, known as Onkalo.

In addition to electricity generation, TVO emphasizes nuclear power's contribution as a low-carbon energy source for combating climate change. The company continues its operations, focusing on ensuring the stability and safety of its electricity production.
