Oma Savings Bank: Foundation Shareholdings Shifted Early 2023

Oma Savings Bank Plc disclosed multiple announcements early in 2023 regarding changes in its shareholders' stakes. These notifications are mandated by the Finnish Securities Markets Act, requiring shareholders whose holdings reach, exceed, or fall below specific percentages to inform the company and the Financial Supervisory Authority.

On March 3, 2023, it was reported that Etelä-Karjalan Säästöpankkisäätiö's (South Karelia Savings Bank Foundation) stake in Oma Savings Bank decreased below the 30% threshold. Earlier, on February 3, Liedon Säästöpankkisäätiö (Lieto Savings Bank Foundation) announced its holding had exceeded 5%. Additionally, at the beginning of March, Hauhon Säästöpankkisäätiö (Hauho Savings Bank Foundation) fell below 5% and Parkanon Säästöpankkisäätiö (Parkano Savings Bank Foundation) dropped below 10%.

These notifications adhere to Chapter 9 of the Securities Markets Act, ensuring transparency for investors by disclosing significant changes in ownership. Such disclosures are crucial for maintaining market integrity and providing timely information about substantial shifts in a listed company's shareholder base.

Oma Savings Bank is one of Finland's largest savings banks. The shifts reported by these foundations reflect ongoing adjustments in major shareholder positions, a common occurrence following a company's public listing and subsequent market activity.
