Omen AI acquires Aquatic Labs for $16 million
Omen AI has acquired water-monitoring startup Aquatic Labs in a $16 million deal to enhance real-time cooling efficiency for data centers.

Omen AI has acquired Aquatic Labs in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $16 million. The move aims to consolidate expertise in water monitoring for data center cooling systems, a sector facing increasing scrutiny over massive water consumption.
By integrating Aquatic Labs’ alkalinity-testing technology with its own elemental sensors, Omen AI aims to automate a process that traditionally relies on slow, manual laboratory sampling. The acquisition follows Omen AI’s $31 million Series A funding round earlier this year.
Allan Adams, formerly CEO of Aquatic Labs, joins Omen AI as chief science officer. The combined engineering team is currently focused on developing a unified sensor capable of providing comprehensive diagnostics to prevent valve failures and bacterial growth in cooling circuits.
