Omnia Training Awarded £2bn Contract for Army Training System
Omnia Training, part of a Raytheon UK-led consortium, has secured a £2 billion contract to serve as the British Army's Strategic Training Partner and deliver its next-generation collective training system.

Omnia Training has been awarded a £2 billion contract by the UK Ministry of Defence to become the British Army's Strategic Training Partner, responsible for delivering the Army's Collective Training System (ACTS).
The Raytheon UK-led consortium, which includes partners Capita, Cervus, Rheinmetall UK, and Skyral, will deliver the ACTS over a 15-year period. The system aims to equip soldiers with an integrated, digitally enabled training environment to enhance readiness for future missions.
ACTS will combine virtual, synthetic, and data-driven environments, moving beyond traditional live exercises to better prepare soldiers for modern warfare scenarios. This approach allows for flexible training deployment, accessible whenever and wherever needed.
The contract is expected to create approximately 270 new jobs and sustain an additional 150. James Gray, Managing Director and Chief Executive of Raytheon UK, stated that the initiative uses "cutting-edge training systems" and a UK-based team to provide enhanced training realism and foster collaboration between the military and industry.
