Omnia Training awarded £2bn contract for British Army training
Omnia Training has been selected as the British Army's Strategic Training Partner for a new Collective Training System (ACTS) under a 15-year contract valued at £2 billion.

Omnia Training has secured a £2 billion contract from the UK Ministry of Defence to serve as the British Army's Strategic Training Partner, responsible for delivering the Army's Collective Training System (ACTS).
The 15-year agreement will see a consortium led by Raytheon UK, including Capita, Cervus, Rheinmetall UK, and Skyral, provide soldiers with an integrated, digitally enabled system. This system aims to transform how soldiers train and prepare for future missions by combining virtual, synthetic, and data-driven environments.
By upgrading traditional live exercises with advanced technologies, the ACTS project will better prepare soldiers for complex modern warfare scenarios. The system is designed to enhance operational readiness and allow training to take place whenever and wherever required.
The contract is expected to create approximately 270 new jobs and sustain an additional 150. James Gray, Managing Director and Chief Executive of Raytheon UK, stated that the initiative will introduce a new level of training realism and serve as a model for industry-army collaboration.
