OmniActive Launches Fenavari for Menopause Support

OmniActive Health Technologies, a global producer of science-backed natural ingredients, is launching Fenavari, a new botanical ingredient designed to support women through hormonal changes during midlife. The ingredient has undergone clinical study to validate its effectiveness.

Fenavari combines extracts from fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) and shatavari (Asparagus racemosus). A recent randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in Women's Health Reports indicated that Fenavari helped mitigate seven key concerns related to hormonal shifts, including reducing the frequency of hot flashes and night sweats, maintaining hormonal balance, and supporting mood and sleep quality.

OmniActive's research suggests a market need for comprehensive solutions addressing menopause symptoms, as many women seek natural alternatives. The company identified unmet needs regarding fragmented solutions, limited clinical backing, and insufficient focus on perimenopause.

The clinical study, involving 138 women aged 40-60, demonstrated improvements in symptoms as early as day 14. Results showed reductions in hot flashes and night sweats, along with support for sleep, mood, sexual wellness, and hormonal balance. The ingredient is standardized for specific compounds found in fenugreek and shatavari.

Fenavari is manufactured using green solvents and is free from estrogen, hormones, and soy. It will be available to formulators later this year. OmniActive Health Technologies was established in 2005.
