Omnicom appoints Tom Schwenger to lead health marketing unit
Omnicom has named Tom Schwenger as the new CEO of its health marketing business, succeeding outgoing executive Dana Maiman.

Omnicom Group has appointed industry veteran Tom Schwenger as the chief executive officer of its health marketing division, effective immediately. Schwenger arrives at Omnicom from Veeva Systems, where he previously served as president and chief customer officer. His background includes a long tenure at Accenture, where he led the company’s life sciences practice.
In his new capacity, Schwenger will oversee Omnicom’s global health marketing agencies. He is tasked with refining client engagement models by utilizing the company’s internal platforms, Omni and Acxiom. He will work alongside Michael Larson, who retains his role as chairman of Omnicom Health and will continue to oversee the group's specialty health business.
Schwenger takes over from Dana Maiman, who is departing the company. Chairman Michael Larson stated that the leadership transition aims to build upon existing foundations, particularly in scaling commercial operations and integrating artificial intelligence into service offerings for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
