Omnissa expands sovereign technology platform to new global markets

Omnissa, a provider of digital workspace and security solutions, announced the expansion of its Omnissa Sovereign Solution (OSS) to six additional markets across Europe and Asia. The service, which provides a managed framework to keep data, service operations, and technical support within a customer's specific legal jurisdiction, is now active in eight markets.

As organizations increase their reliance on AI agents, the company aims to address sovereignty concerns regarding where these agents run and who controls the underlying infrastructure. By requiring that data remains on local infrastructure and that services are operated by certified in-market partners, the company seeks to assist regulated industries in maintaining governance over their tech stacks.

"AI needs a safe place to run," said CEO Amit Singh during the Omnissa ONE EMEA event in Amsterdam. The firm argues that the endpoint acts as the primary enforcement point for AI security, where intelligence translates into operational action. The platform combines containment and accountability to allow for secure AI adoption.

Beyond current operations, Omnissa plans to enter seven more markets in the coming months, including regions in the Middle East and additional European countries. The expansion also adds support for Microsoft Windows Server, extending the sovereign management model beyond standard end-user devices to broader enterprise environments.
