Omron and Transcosmos Establish Joint Venture for Back-Office Operations
OMRON Corporation and transcosmos inc. are forming a new company, OMRON TRANSCOSMOS PROCESS INNOVATION Co., Ltd., to streamline Omron's back-office functions across HR, finance, and administration.

OMRON Corporation and transcosmos inc. announced today the agreement to establish a joint venture named OMRON TRANSCOSMOS PROCESS INNOVATION Co., Ltd., scheduled to commence operations on July 1, 2025. The new entity will centralize and optimize Omron Group's indirect operational functions, including human resources, finance and accounting, and general administration.
The joint venture will operate as a shared services center, leveraging transcosmos' expertise in operational automation and IT solutions. The aim is to enhance the quality and efficiency of Omron's internal processes, thereby accelerating business process transformation and establishing an optimized operational structure.
This collaboration is also expected to benefit transcosmos by providing new insights into various industries and business operations, which will strengthen its Digital BPO service offerings. The initial capital for the joint venture will be 180 million yen, with OMRON Corporation holding a 51% stake and transcosmos inc. holding 49%.
