OMRON Subsidiary Employees Recognized in Kyoto

Two employees from OMRON Kyoto Taiyo, a subsidiary of OMRON Corporation, have been honored with the Kyoto Prefecture Governor's Award for Outstanding Workers with Disabilities. The awards were presented on September 3, 2026, to Tomohiro Hirata and Tokukazu Oyasu.

This recognition marks the 14th instance since 2014 that an employee from OMRON Kyoto Taiyo has received this prestigious award. The company, established in 1985 as a special subsidiary for employment of individuals with disabilities, focuses on the production of control equipment.

Tomohiro Hirata was recognized for his work in quality management and administrative roles, including coordination with customers and external bodies for international certifications. Tokukazu Oyasu was awarded for his leadership on a manufacturing line, focusing on process improvements and team training.

Both employees were cited for their strong sense of responsibility, proactive approach to improving operations, and contributions to a positive workplace environment. They expressed gratitude for the support received and commitment to continued growth and contribution.
