Once Upon a Farm shares fall 37 percent following product recall
Organic baby food manufacturer Once Upon a Farm saw its stock drop significantly after the FDA issued a safety warning regarding a choking hazard in its toddler snacks.

Shares of Once Upon a Farm declined by 37 percent following a product recall initiated by a safety warning from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The regulator advised consumers to stop using the company's 'Tractor Wheels' soft-baked bars, citing the potential for complete airway obstruction in children between 18 and 30 months old.
The company issued a voluntary recall for three specific varieties, acknowledging that it had failed to meet consumer safety expectations. The decision followed three formal complaints regarding the products. Once Upon a Farm stated it is currently working on product reformulation to address the safety concerns raised by the incident.
Once Upon a Farm, which counts Jennifer Garner as a co-founder, went public in February. The rapid decline in share price highlights the sensitivity of the baby food industry to health and safety concerns. For the company, the primary risk remains a long-term erosion of consumer trust, which is critical in a sector defined by parental reliance on brand safety.
