OncoC4 Receives NMPA Acceptance for Two New Cancer Drug Studies in China

US-based OncoC4 Inc. has announced that China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has accepted two Investigational New Drug (IND) applications. These acceptances will allow the company to study its compound, cesalatamig, in combination with antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and pan-RAS inhibitors.

The new studies aim to expand cesalatamig's application into biomarker-driven precision immuno-oncology strategies. The company is seeking to demonstrate the compound's efficacy in patient populations suitable for specific targeted cancer treatments.

Cesalatamig is currently also being evaluated in ongoing Phase 2 studies within the United States and China. These existing trials are assessing cesalatamig as a standalone therapy across various cancer types.

The NMPA's acceptance marks a significant step for OncoC4's development pipeline in the Chinese market, positioning the company to initiate these new combination studies.
