Ondas and Palantir Launch AI Venture for Defense Customers
Defense technology company Ondas and Palantir Technologies are launching Regna AI, a venture to develop AI models for government and commercial customers.

US-listed defense technology company Ondas and Palantir Technologies are launching a new venture named Regna AI. This company aims to build artificial intelligence models designed for deployment within government and commercial clients' own systems, including on field hardware during sensitive operations.
Ondas will initially hold full ownership of Regna AI and serve as its inaugural customer. Palantir's role will involve providing the necessary training infrastructure and assisting in tailoring the AI models to align with specific customer workflows. The venture's initial focus will be on intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance use cases.
Regna AI's capabilities will also extend to supporting autonomous systems in environments with limited connectivity. The software is designed to assess evidence, compare various options, and recommend mission updates, with final decisions remaining under human oversight. This launch follows Ondas' recent acquisition of Insignito, Ottopia Defense, and Caribou Labs for $56 million, expanding its defense technology portfolio.
