Ondo Launches Blockchain-Based Portfolios Using BlackRock Strategies

New York, September 25, 2026 – Ondo Finance has launched a new product category in the on-chain space: Intelligent Portfolios. These are curated portfolios delivered as single, blockchain-transferable tokens. The three portfolio tokens launched today are based on BlackRock-supported portfolio strategies that BlackRock developed for Ondo.

The new tokenized portfolios allow eligible, non-US investors to gain exposure to professionally designed investment strategies through a single token. Traditionally, accessing diversified portfolio strategies required brokerage accounts or traditional fund structures. Now, these blockchain-based portfolios are offered as peer-to-peer transferable tokens, available in licensed jurisdictions through investors' existing wallets, exchanges, and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.

Blockchain technology enables programmable portfolios with automatic rebalancing via smart contracts and the integration of various asset classes into a single token. Ondo Intelligent Portfolios provides the infrastructure to integrate strategies from leading asset managers onto the blockchain. Lisa O'Connor, global head of Model Portfolio Solutions at BlackRock, noted that tokenization opens new avenues for distributing portfolio strategies via digital infrastructures.

Three tailored portfolio strategies are being launched: Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock (BLKHIon), Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKDIGon), and Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKGRWon). Ian De Bode, interim CEO of Ondo Finance, emphasized that these blockchain-based, transferable, and DeFi-compatible portfolios represent a significant milestone for on-chain investment products.

Ondo Finance plans to expand its product offerings over time. The company focuses on tokenizing real-world assets and providing institutional-grade financial products on the blockchain, bridging traditional finance with decentralized infrastructure.
