ONE Gas has published its 2026 Sustainability Report, detailing the company's progress in safety, environmental stewardship, and community commitment across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The annual report specifically highlights achievements from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025.
The report notes that ONE Gas received its ninth consecutive Safety Achievement Award from the American Gas Association in 2025, acknowledging its strong safety performance. The company also reported replacing over 400 miles of distribution and transmission lines to enhance safety and reduce fugitive emissions.
Regarding environmental goals, ONE Gas reported an estimated 53% reduction in Scope 1 emissions from its distribution pipeline system as of December 31, 2025. This figure moves the company closer to its 2035 target of a 55% reduction. Additionally, the company issued approximately $14.1 million in energy efficiency rebates, contributing to an estimated reduction of 40,840 metric tons of CO2e emissions.
Socially, the report indicates that employee engagement increased for the ninth consecutive year. ONE Gas employees, retirees, and their families contributed over 10,575 volunteer hours, and the ONE Gas Foundation provided $3.2 million in grants and community investments.
