OnePlus 16 Phone Opens for Pre-order, Supports 165Hz Refresh Rate

Pre-orders for the OnePlus 16 smartphone have commenced on JD.com, a major online retailer in China. While the final price has not yet been disclosed, early adopters who pre-order and purchase the device upon release will receive benefits including a two-year battery warranty and bundled wireless earbuds.
The device will be available in three color options: "Tomorrow's Starlight," "Dark Forest," and "Mars Masterpiece." According to Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, the OnePlus 16 is positioned as a "peak performance flagship" and will debut with the ColorOS 17 operating system. A key highlight is its global 165Hz refresh rate support across the system.
Previous leaks and reports suggest the OnePlus 16 will also feature a substantial 9000mAh battery, one of the largest capacities for upcoming flagship phones. Further specifications are rumored to include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 processor, a 200-megapixel main camera, and potentially an 185Hz refresh rate for gaming. The phone has also passed Chinese 3C certification, confirming support for 100W wired charging.
