OnePlus has announced that its upcoming OnePlus 16 smartphone will feature the company's self-developed G3 gaming network chip, designed to minimize network latency during gameplay. The device will also incorporate a new anti-interference gaming antenna, intended to maintain a stable network connection even when the user's hand obstructs it. This 360-degree antenna design aims to ensure a smooth gaming experience in congested network environments, such as cafes or on public transport.

The OnePlus 16 is scheduled for an official release on October 12. Leaked specifications suggest the phone will include a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The camera system is expected to comprise a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. Powering the device will reportedly be a 9000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, driven by a Snapdragon 8-series processor.

The smartphone industry continues to focus on enhancing mobile gaming performance. OnePlus's introduction of dedicated hardware for network stability in the OnePlus 16 reflects a broader trend of manufacturers investing in specialized components to address user demands for reliable and low-latency online gaming experiences.
