OnePlus Ceases New Product Launches in US and Europe
OnePlus has officially confirmed it will stop launching new products in the US and European markets. Parent company Oppo has pledged to honor existing support and warranty agreements.

Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has officially confirmed its withdrawal from the United States and European markets. The company will no longer introduce new products in these regions, ending a significant chapter in its global expansion efforts.
The decision is widely believed to stem from intense market competition and challenges in gaining substantial market share. While discontinuing new device sales, its parent company, Oppo, has assured customers that software updates for existing devices will continue. These updates will transition to Oppo's ColorOS platform.
"Software updates and after-sale support will be guaranteed" in both the US and Europe, stated Oppo's senior PR manager for Europe, James Paterson, to The Verge. However, specific details regarding the fulfillment of warranty and support agreements in the US were not provided, as the company will no longer have a physical presence in the country.
OnePlus' departure signifies a notable shift in the smartphone landscape, particularly in Europe, where the brand cultivated a dedicated following. This move could create opportunities for competing manufacturers to capture market share previously sought by OnePlus.
