OnePlus Launches Compact Magnetic Phone Cooler
OnePlus has introduced the "Ice Card Mini," a new magnetic phone cooler designed for portability and direct attachment. The device operates without an external power source, drawing power directly from the phone.
OnePlus has announced the launch of its "Ice Card Mini" magnetic cooler, a compact accessory designed to help mobile devices maintain performance during intensive tasks. The device measures smaller than a credit card and weighs approximately 50 grams, emphasizing its portable design. It attaches directly to smartphones using magnets and is powered by the phone itself, eliminating the need for additional cables or power adapters.
The cooler integrates a TEC (thermoelectric cooling) chip with a fan, allowing it to direct cooling to the phone's core heat-generating areas. This functionality aims to stabilize frame rates during demanding gaming sessions. When powered by a 10,000mAh power bank, the device can operate at its highest setting for up to eight hours.
Noise levels are reported to be below 25 decibels on the low setting and up to 35 decibels on the high setting, comparable to ambient conversation. The "Ice Card Mini" supports high-performance modes on OPPO and OnePlus phones (ColorOS X) and includes an adapter ring for compatibility with a wide range of Android and Apple devices.
The OnePlus "Ice Card Mini" is now available for purchase in China, with an introductory price of 199 yuan. A special bundle price of 169 yuan is also being offered.
