Chinese technology firm OnePlus has announced its "2026 OnePlus Game Conference" will be held on September 28. The event is expected to showcase new gaming technologies, including three exclusive gaming features and an ecosystem supporting up to 185 frames per second (FPS).
Among the planned announcements is the company's self-developed "e-sports triple chip" system. Reports indicate this system comprises three chips: a P4 super display chip, a G3 gaming network chip, and a T3 touch sampling chip. These chips are designed to significantly enhance the gaming experience, particularly in fast-paced games, by improving touch response, network connectivity, and display performance.
The conference is also anticipated to introduce new gameplay mechanics for shooting games. Furthermore, OnePlus plans to bring a substantial number of mainstream games that natively support 185 FPS to its platform. These advancements are expected to be first implemented in the upcoming OnePlus 16 flagship smartphone.
The OnePlus 16 is also rumored to feature a large 9000mAh battery and support for fast charging. It is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon processor and include a high-resolution camera system. The company's focus for this event is to highlight its efforts in advancing mobile gaming performance and user experience.
