Oneworld and Taj InnerCircle Launch Loyalty Partnership
The global airline alliance Oneworld has partnered with Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) for a first-of-its-kind loyalty program collaboration. Members will gain access to benefits across both hotel and airline loyalty programs.

Global airline alliance Oneworld has announced a new loyalty partnership with Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), marking the first time an airline alliance has tied up with a hotel group for such a collaboration. The agreement grants Oneworld loyalty members exclusive savings and recognition across IHCL's portfolio of brands, including Taj.
Effective immediately, Oneworld Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby tier members can access preferential rates and enhanced on-property benefits, such as dining and spa discounts, when booking through dedicated channels. This initiative extends the value proposition of Oneworld loyalty beyond air travel.
The partnership connects Oneworld's network of nearly 1,000 destinations with IHCL's over 630 hotels across four continents. As a next step, reciprocal loyalty recognition will be introduced, matching Oneworld elite tiers with Taj InnerCircle - NeuPass status levels. Future phases may include earning points on hotel stays within Oneworld airline programs.
IHCL Managing Director & CEO Puneet Chhatwal stated the partnership signifies "a coming together of two global leaders to redefine how travel and hospitality intersect." Oneworld estimates that 10 million international customers travel to and from India annually on its member airlines, highlighting the strategic importance of this market.
