Oneworld Enhances Online Check-in with Amadeus Travel Ready
The Oneworld airline alliance is upgrading its digital check-in process using Amadeus Travel Ready. This integration aims to streamline the passenger experience and reduce airport wait times across member airlines.

The Oneworld airline alliance has implemented Amadeus Travel Ready to enhance its digital check-in process for passengers. This collaboration with Amadeus aims to provide a faster and more streamlined experience for travellers connecting across the alliance's member airlines.
Amadeus Travel Ready is integrated into the digital check-in flow, allowing passengers to scan and verify their passports. The technology is designed to reduce the need for manual checks and airport queues, thereby expediting passenger movement through airports.
Several Oneworld member airlines, including British Airways, Fiji Airways, Finnair, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian, and SriLankan Airlines, have adopted Amadeus Travel Ready for their own flights. The technology extends its capability to cover itineraries involving multiple carriers within the alliance.
Guido van Til, Oneworld's Vice President of Digital and Transformation, highlighted the solution's role in improving the travel journey. "Amadeus Travel Ready is an important step towards delivering a frictionless journey for travellers," van Til stated. "It's another way Oneworld is working to offer digital solutions that give customers the ability to self-service their journeys as much as possible."
