Oneworld Expands Operations at London Heathrow

LONDON, May 22, 2026 – The Oneworld Alliance is expanding its footprint at London Heathrow Airport, with Alaska Airlines launching its new nonstop service to Seattle on Friday, May 22, 2026. This addition brings the total number of member airlines serving the airport to 14.

This summer, Oneworld airlines are scheduled to offer nearly 2,800 weekly departures, connecting London Heathrow to over 160 destinations across more than 60 countries. With close to 400 daily departures, Heathrow serves as a cornerstone of Oneworld's global network.

Between January and May 2026, 71 percent of Round the World trip bookings made through Oneworld.com included London when planning multi-stop itineraries. Last year, approximately 29 million Oneworld customers traveled to, from, or transited through London Heathrow, with nearly 30 percent connecting between alliance member airlines.

Heathrow is Oneworld's most served global hub, hosting 14 member airlines. The airport is also a leading market for international business travel, with alliance carriers offering more than 160,000 premium seats weekly.
