oneworld relaunches sales tool for meetings and events
oneworld has relaunched its Meetings & Events sales tool to simplify international event travel. The update coincides with a new report identifying trends that will shape global gatherings through 2030.

Airline alliance oneworld has relaunched its Meetings & Events sales tool, designed to facilitate travel arrangements for international events. The service provides event organizers with access to preferential fare products across all 15 oneworld member airlines, connecting delegates to a global network serving nearly 1,000 destinations.
The relaunch coincides with the publication of a new trend report, developed in collaboration with Globetrender, a travel trend forecasting agency. The report identifies seven key factors expected to transform the international meetings and events landscape between 2027 and 2030. Roger Blackburn, oneworld's Vice President Commercial & Loyalty, emphasized the value of in-person connections.
"Even in an increasingly digital world, studies show the enduring value of face-to-face connections. The best events generate relationships, ideas, and opportunities that are difficult to replicate in a virtual environment," Blackburn stated during an appearance at IMEX Las Vegas. He added that large-scale global gatherings are not only here to stay but are becoming increasingly relevant.
oneworld Meetings & Events is designed for groups of 50 or more delegates traveling independently to a common destination. Event organizers receive a unique booking link to share directly with attendees or integrate into the event website. Delegates manage their own flights from their respective origins, choosing itineraries that best suit their individual schedules.
