Oneworld streamlines airport benefits for frequent flyers
Airline alliance Oneworld is launching new "Priority" branding to help frequent flyers easily identify and access airport benefits, including check-in, security, and lounge access.

Oneworld Enhances Airport Experience with New "Priority" Branding
The Oneworld airline alliance is introducing new "Priority" signage and branding to improve the airport experience for its most frequent flyers. This initiative aims to make it easier for passengers to locate and utilize their alliance benefits, such as priority check-in, expedited security lanes, lounge access, and priority boarding.
The Oneworld Priority logo will feature symbols representing the alliance's top three frequent flyer tiers: Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby. These markers will assist travelers in quickly identifying where they are entitled to receive their benefits. The project involves updating signage at over 1,000 airports worldwide served by Oneworld member airlines.
The first airports to receive the new branding include Perth, Australia, followed by Sydney, Melbourne, Berlin, and Dusseldorf. Within one year, the 125 busiest airports for business travelers, including all Oneworld hubs, will feature the new signage. The complete rollout across the alliance's network is expected within the following 12 months.
Oneworld CEO Bruce Ashby stated that the new system is designed to address the challenge of identifying benefits in potentially crowded and unfamiliar airport environments. "We want to make the journey through airports as smooth as possible for our most loyal customers," Ashby said. He added that the initiative also aims to increase awareness of the various benefits provided by Oneworld to its top-tier members.
