Oneworld updates frequent flyer benefits and integrates Malaysia Airlines
The airline alliance has expanded its Emerald status privileges and added Malaysia Airlines to its global network, effective immediately.

Airline alliance oneworld has introduced additional benefits for its top-tier Emerald frequent flyers. The updates, which took effect immediately, include an extra checked baggage allowance and access to priority security lanes at select global airports.
These enhancements coincide with the official addition of Malaysia Airlines to the alliance. Approximately two million members of the Enrich loyalty program are now integrated into the oneworld network, gaining access to reciprocal mileage earning, status points, and lounge access across the alliance's membership base. Conversely, passengers from other oneworld carriers can now access their status benefits when flying with Malaysia Airlines.
CEO Bruce Ashby stated that the alliance aims to provide consistent recognition and services for international travelers across all partner airlines. With these changes, Emerald cardholders retain top-tier status across the entire oneworld portfolio, spanning airlines such as British Airways, American Airlines, and Qantas.
