ONIX to Release Limited Gold Edition of Tocata Player

Chinese technology firm ONIX is introducing a new limited edition gold version of its Tocata player. The device will be available for purchase starting July 29, priced at 2,298 yuan (approximately $320 USD), with a production run capped at 500 units. The Tocata player features a 3-inch OLED display and is equipped with an eight-channel Cirrus Logic CS4308P DAC chip. It utilizes a proprietary "Brighton" I/V conversion architecture, incorporating dual OPA1612 and dual SGM8262-2 operational amplifiers. The output power is rated at 800mW into a 32-ohm load, with adjustable gain settings designed for low distortion and dynamic range. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC and aptX support (bidirectional), USB-DAC functionality, and AirPlay/DLNA streaming capabilities. Users can also control the player remotely via the Eddict Player smartphone application. The device is powered by a built-in 3000mAh battery, offering up to 8.5 hours of playback time on a single charge.
