Starting January 1, 2027, OP Financial Group will remove monthly account and digital agreement fees for approximately 70,000 associations across Finland. This policy change applies to various organizations, including road maintenance associations.

The bank estimates that this measure will provide an annual cost saving of over seven million euros for the affected associations. The move is intended to reduce administrative burdens on community-level organizations, allowing them to redirect funds toward their primary activities.

"Associations perform vital work on behalf of people and local communities. OP wants to support the daily activities of small associations by providing them with more financial leeway to focus on their core operations," said Timo Ritakallio, President and Group CEO of OP Financial Group.

The fee waiver will take effect at the start of 2027, impacting the operational budget of a broad range of non-profit and community organizations.
