AI security firm OPAQUE, alongside industry leaders AMD, Intel, and the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), has announced the creation of TRACE, an open standard for AI runtime verification.
TRACE, which stands for Transparent Runtime Assurance and Compliance Engine, is designed to improve the trustworthiness and predictability of artificial intelligence systems. The standard provides a framework for verifying AI behavior while it is actively operating, aiming to catch errors or deviations before they cause issues.
The initiative addresses the growing need for robust assurance in AI systems deployed in critical applications.
