OpenAI Executive Brandon McGraw Joins Boats Group Board
Technology firm Boats Group has appointed OpenAI executive Brandon McGraw to its board of directors. The move signals the company's continued focus on AI and growth initiatives.
Boats Group, the technology company operating leading marine industry digital marketplaces including Boat Trader and YachtWorld, announced the appointment of Brandon McGraw as a non-executive director to its Board of Directors. McGraw brings significant experience in artificial intelligence, product development, and consumer technology.
McGraw currently serves as Interim CMO, Consumer & Hardware Marketing at OpenAI, where he leads commercial and brand strategy for the company's consumer applications and hardware. His background includes prior leadership roles at Anthropic and co-founding an AI company called Reflective Works, alongside earlier positions at Meta and Google.
The appointment aligns with Boats Group's ongoing expansion of AI integration across its consumer marketplaces and professional tools. The company recently integrated its platforms into ChatGPT for a new conversational boat discovery channel and launched tools like Listing Optimizer and a Market Evaluation Tool, leveraging data to aid sellers and inform pricing decisions.
