OpenAI Introduces Sketch Tool for ChatGPT Image Generation
OpenAI has launched a new feature for ChatGPT called Sketch, enabling users to transform their drawings into detailed AI-generated images.
OpenAI announced on Tuesday a new image generation feature for ChatGPT named Sketch. This tool allows users to draw a simple sketch directly within the chat interface, which ChatGPT then uses as a basis to create a more detailed image according to the user's instructions.
The Sketch feature is activated by typing @Sketch into the chat box, which opens a drawing window. Initial testing demonstrated that the tool could successfully convert a basic mouse-drawn doodle of a cat into a realistic photo, following specific prompts.
Alongside the introduction of Sketch, OpenAI is also enabling users to leave comments directly on specific parts of generated images. This enhancement provides users with more granular control over the AI's image creation process.
