OpenAI loses second executive this week

OpenAI has confirmed that Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser will be leaving the company in the coming weeks. Dresser, who joined OpenAI in December after serving as CEO of Slack, communicated her decision to her team in a note posted to LinkedIn.

Dresser's departure marks the second significant executive exit from OpenAI this week. Earlier, Brad Lightcap, who transitioned to a lead role in special projects after serving as COO, announced his departure. Dresser had taken over some of Lightcap's former responsibilities.

According to OpenAI, Dali Rajic, president and COO of Wiz, is slated to take over the Chief Revenue Officer role. The company has not provided further details on the reasons for these departures.

The recent exits raise questions about internal dynamics at the artificial intelligence research firm, which has been at the forefront of AI development and public discourse.
