Artificial intelligence firm OpenAI is reportedly developing a new, premium subscription tier for its ChatGPT service, tentatively named "ChatGPT Pro Max." The potential new plan was hinted at when developer Tibor Blaho found "PROMAX" related fields within the ChatGPT web interface's source code.
While OpenAI has not officially announced such a service, Blaho speculated that this higher-tier subscription could cost as much as $600 per month. It remains unclear what specific features or benefits this "Pro Max" tier would offer, or when it might be launched. The company has not confirmed if the discovered code snippets directly correspond to a future product.
OpenAI has previously adjusted its ChatGPT subscription offerings. The company currently provides access through various paid plans, including ChatGPT Plus and specialized tiers for enterprise and team users.
